BUILDING AUTOMATION
One building. One screen.
One system that makes sense
CIMCO Building Solutions integrates building controls, monitoring, alarming and scheduling into one system — giving facility teams better visibility into how their building is operating.
WHAT IT DOES
One system that brings the building together
Your building already has equipment that heats it, cools it, ventilates it and lights it. A building automation system is the layer that brings those systems together and gives your facility team one place to see what is happening.
It can adjust operation around occupancy, monitor conditions throughout the building, alert your team when something moves outside its normal range, and keep a history of what happened so problems can be diagnosed instead of guessed at.
THE BENEFITS
Better visibility. Fewer surprises.
Fewer complaints
Better temperature control means fewer hot-and-cold calls from occupants.
Lower operating costs
Equipment runs when it should — and stops wasting energy when it shouldn’t.
A real operating record
Trends and history help your team troubleshoot problems and understand what actually happened.
Earlier warning
The system can alert your team when something moves outside its normal range, before it becomes a bigger problem.
Longer equipment life
Equipment that isn’t running unnecessarily generally lasts longer and needs less premature replacement.
BUILT TO SCALE
From one rooftop unit to a central plant
A building automation system can control a single packaged rooftop unit in a small commercial building, hundreds of zone controllers across a hospital, or a central chilled-water plant with multiple chillers, pumps and cooling towers that have to operate in the right sequence.
CIMCO Building Solutions designs the system around the facility — not the other way around — and plans the work so your building can keep operating while upgrades and integration are completed.
HONEYWELL BUILDING AUTOMATION
Built on Honeywell Designed to work with the whole building
CIMCO Building Solutions is a Honeywell Authorized Controls Integrator (ACI) and standardizes on Honeywell building automation technology for new installations.
Honeywell’s open, non-proprietary platform can communicate with equipment from other manufacturers, allowing systems such as Carrier, Trane, Daikin and others to become part of the same building automation environment.
TECHNICAL CAPAB ILITY
WEBs-N4 platform
Honeywell’s Niagara-based building automation platform for supervisory control, graphics, alarming, scheduling and integration.
Honeywell controllers
CIPer 30, CIPer 50, Advanced Plant Controllers, Optimizer, Spyder 3/5/7, TC500 and TC300 Series.
Open integration
BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, T1L and Modbus integration where applicable.
